My swing tags were designed with the use
of tracing paper in mind, as I wanted to evoke a sense of lightness that I
associated with butterflies and the notion of flight. I wanted the swing tags
in a sense to be free from gravity. So I used the outline of my bowl pattern,
as it resembles a wing as the template for my swing tags. I wanted some
complexity in colour and imagery to create a stain glassed window effect if you
were to hold the swing tags up in the light. In contrast to my other marketing
materials, this is the only one that looks and feels light as everything else
was printed on paper with a heavier gsm.
