multiple production of the bowls was very exhausting but with the help of friends during the sanding process it sped up the process and made it possible to sand, polish and bend the bowls in 7 days.
because i wanted the bowls to have very smooth edges and VERY polished surfaces i was extremely finicky throughout the whole process. because i want the customers to be mesmerised by the shine and how it brings out the stars.
one trick that really helped speed up the polishing process was the polish application pad (3rd image). it is conventionally used on cars for applying polish but i used it to polish the whole bowl in less than 10 minutes without working my arms out! (cotton cloth takes almost 5x longer to do the same job to get an extremely polished shine)
