Window Hole

Acrylic stencil

To make the window hole on the top box all the same size and in the same position, Cristina made a stencil out of acrylic. There is a square edge that is marked with an X, which can be placed at the corner of top of the box, where she can then cut out this circle with a sharp scalpel.

With these practice boxes, the holes were cut out once the box was completed. However when doing the finalised boxes, the hole might be easier to cut before the box is glued together.
