I cut two holes for the handle cross through. I use very thick cord as my box handle and also I put two eyelets to cover the hold edge before put the cord through the hold. The cord is bit thick so I use sticky tape to tie the up and cross through the hole that method is easy to pull the cord out and then I tie a knot.
