Interior of the Coralis packaging

When Cristina went shopping in week 6, and was looking for special crepe paper, she decided to place some kind of material inside. The colour was cream so it could be a great contrast with the Coralis bowl being black.

The process:
Cutting out a square that would fin over the box. Using masking tape to place the fabric on the inside of the box. Cutting off the excess fabric, then the fabric was then stretched up.
After setting up for each box, it was then ready to put it together.
Using hot glue, the fabric was connected to the box.

The scrunch up effect on each corner represents nature through the random direction of each line. The fabric has the effect of flow because it is not glued down too tight. This is a reference to the ocean, and with Coralis being
inspired by coral; the fruit bowl is symbolically placed in water.
