'Kic' Box Graphics

All 10 finished boxes
Each box is packaged with a paper sleeve that wraps around the box and secures it shut. A paper sleeve is a very nice way to add graphics to any box or packaging. The sleeve slips on and off the box horizontally so there is no chance of it falling off when the box is being carried.

I started by making a 1:1 mock up of the sleeve using A3 scrap paper. Once I had determined the size and shape of the sleeve (it was not a simple series of rectangles) I used Illustrator and Photoshop to develop the graphics.

I used brown ribbon for the handle as it complimented the colour of the box and pear graphics without drawing attention away from the graphics. Making the box with a handle removed the need for extra baggage, packaging and waste.
