FANFARE: Packaging Graphics

Label design for the fanfare packaging

The graphic appearance of the fanfare box is minimal and clean, with a new, modern feel - in line with the aesthetics of the brand.  Minimal graphics are required, as all meaning is expressed through the form of both the bowl and packaging.  To add extensive graphics to the design would detract from the stark boldness of the lid, and its fresh, crisp lines.   For this reason I designed the lid with only the fanfare name on it.  The black and white contrast in cardboard colour serve to accentuate the striking aesthetics, at the same time highlighting the contour and form presented to the consumer.

The label I designed for the base of the packaging detailed the story behind the fruit bowl, giving an insight into the inspiration I had, as well as identifying myself as the designer. It follows the shape and contour of the base in its form.

In addition to this I also developed stickers that would be placed on the box to seal it once a bowl had been bought.
