FANFARE: Inspiration

Inspiration behind fanfare

Laser cut acrylic fruit bowl

The fanfare fruit bowl is a reflection of modern design and minimalist aesthetics, with inspiration drawn from the bends and folds of leaves spanning a multitude of scales - noticeably palm and banana leaves where the folds are quite obvious, and also from the folds seen on smaller leaves but which are observed only under a close examination.   The design and construction of the bowl is such that it evokes curiosity and intrigue from the market.  It has been designed for consumers with a taste for unusual and reflective design pieces; individuals who consciously purchase the bowl as a statement item, with the bowl evoking questions and comments in any environment in which it is situated and featured due to its aesthetic qualities - qualities which redefine the way individuals identify and connect with the humble fruit bowl.
